Frequently asked questions
What areas do you serve with pallet rack inspections?
We provide pallet rack inspections nationwide, serving all 50 states. Our our experts are located in Virginia, Florida, and North Carolina, with our headquarters in New Mexico.
Do you sell pallet racks or equipment?
We do not sell pallet racks or storage systems, which keeps our inspections fully independent and unbiased. We do offer select warehouse safety products — such as protective guarding, column protectors, and bollards — to help facilities address hazards identified during inspection.
What should I expect after submitting an inquiry?
One of our inspection specialists will contact you within 1–2 business days with a quote. From there, we build a custom inspection checklist tailored to your facility's layout, rack systems, and operational needs.
How often should pallet racks be inspected?
ANSI MH16.1 and OSHA guidance recommend a documented inspection by a qualified third party at least annually, with more frequent internal inspections by trained staff. Facilities with high forklift traffic or seismic considerations may require more frequent third-party reviews.
What standards do your inspections follow?
Our inspections are conducted in accordance with ANSI MH16.1, RMI guidelines, and applicable OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910.176). Our inspectors are OSHA-certified.
What do I receive after the inspection?
You receive a detailed written report documenting all findings, photographs of any deficiencies, severity classifications (red, amber, green), and clear recommendations for corrective action.
Do you offer repair services?
We do not perform repairs. Keeping inspection and repair services separate ensures our findings remain objective. We are happy to provide guidance on reputable repair providers when needed.
How long does an inspection take?
Inspection duration depends on facility size, rack quantity, and complexity. Most single-facility inspections are completed in one to two days. We provide a clear timeline as part of your custom quote.
Will the inspection disrupt our operations?
Our inspectors work around your schedule and operational flow to minimize disruption. In most cases, normal warehouse activity can continue during the inspection.
Do you handle inspections for multi-site or national accounts?
Yes. We regularly coordinate inspections across multiple facilities and can structure reporting to support corporate safety and compliance programs.
